Meet Clara Gill, our Fundraising and Corporate Engagement Manager

Clara leads ACCT UK’s fundraising and corporate partnerships, helping organisations connect their values with meaningful social impact. With more than 15 years of experience in the charity sector, Clara joined ACCT UK in 2022 to support our mission of developing young people through the Army Cadets.

Under Clara’s leadership, our partnerships help to:

  • Fund ACCT UK’s national grants programme to support local projects and initiatives.
  • Provide career guidance, employability skills, and mentoring for cadets and adult volunteers.
  • Support special projects and events that strengthen the Army Cadets’ community.

Clara is passionate about helping young people thrive and about building partnerships that deliver real, measurable benefits to both the cadets we support and the businesses that collaborate with us.

If your organisation would like to explore partnership opportunities with ACCT UK, please contact Clara at [email protected].

Independent research has shown that participation in the Cadet Forces has a transformative impact, improving social mobility, wellbeing, education, employability, and resilience, while building inclusive community links across backgrounds.

Supporting ACCT UK equips young people with leadership skills for a bright future. Elevate academic achievement, enhance employment opportunities, and propel career growth. Partner with ACCT UK and empower young people across the UK.

The Army Cadet Charitable Trust UK has been supporting the Army Cadet Force for over 95 years.

ACCT UK grants offer opportunities for young people to learn new skills, build confidence and develop friendships that inspire and empower them to achieve their life ambitions. We extend the capabilities of local ACF detachments by providing adult volunteers with funding for training and enabling a variety of activities to enhance the cadet experience through charitable grants.

For those individual cadets who can’t afford some of the costs and extracurricular activities available with the Army Cadets, ACCT UK is there to provide additional support to ensure that cost is not a barrier to participation or achievement.
