ACCT UK Trustee – General Trustee (Northern Ireland)

About the role

We are looking for a volunteer in Northern Ireland with the energy and enthusiasm to bring knowledge and insight of the ACF and other youth matters in Northern Ireland. Whether you are a non-uniformed volunteer, a probationary instructor or a senior officer, you will have something to bring to the role. You would be part of our board’s team overseeing the strategic direction for ACCT UK to ensure its effective delivery, as well as giving a balanced representative view from your experience that will help to feed into charitable objectives.

Closing date for applications: midday on Wednesday 22^nd January 2025

Interviews will take place online via MS Teams at a mutually agreed date in February 2025 with a view to the chosen candidate being elected by ACCT UK’s members at the AGM on 22^nd March 2025.

Eligibility

You need not be Northern Irish, but you must live in Northern Ireland and you must be or recently have been an ACF adult volunteer in one of the Northern Irish ACF battalions, i.e. serving or former adult volunteers and non-uniformed volunteers are eligible

You must be able to demonstrate experience of volunteering in the ACF.

You must be able to dedicate 6-8 hours a month to ACCT UK board matters plus formal board and committee meetings
